I am grateful for my ETC department and its faculty members to support and encourage me throughout the 4 years of my college life. Their constant motivation and assistance has helped me to grow better personally as well as professionally. Over the years, I am happy for the experience gained, the person that I have become, sense of confidence in me and most importantly patience. A big shoutout to all my teachers to push me through to yield the best results. Thanking each one of you to be a part of my journey.
I completed BE in ETC Engineering at DBCE, Fatorda in 2020. A lot of things come to mind when I think about my time at college but, one thing worth mentioning would be how much I have grown both as a person and professionally during my 4 years at the institution. The ETC department did an excellent job of creating opportunities for us, students, to learn as much as possible by organizing workshops, internships, and even field visits to companies. I have nothing but gratitude to express towards the faculty members for their support and for helping me develop these qualities over the years right from being part of ETC student’s council to organizing tours as part of the IEEE branch at DBCE. God Bless!
The most important four years of my career at Don Bosco were great and a memory to cherish for a lifetime. The entire faculty and department has been a great contributor to the development of my personality. I have established my leadership, time management and team skills. It gave me an opportunity to meet different kind of people and learned many things. The professors here make the university what it is today. With an attitude of being ever ready to help, and not only delivering classroom teachings, but they are also the pillars of the learning gained from this esteemed college and this is a treasure for life.I have emerged as a new individual. All Thanks to my “ETC Department”.
It was a truly valuable learning experience studying at Don Bosco College of Engineering
The faculty at ETC Department provided guidance in enhancing my academic and interpersonal skills.
Workshops, Industrial field visits and internships have contributed to gaining industrial exposure.
DBCE always encouraged me to be a part of various academic and co-curricular activities which has helped straighten my leadership and interpersonal qualities.
My time at DBCE left me with an open mind and important skills. The Civil Engineering course was interesting. The diversity of modules really broadened my thinking. The actual project and assignments we did during the course taught me a lot about Civil Engineering – not just in theory, but also in practice. It was the best four years of my life! I found a very caring and homely environment at DBCE where the faculty and staff were exceptionally supportive. To any new student coming to DBCE, I would say this: DBCE is not just a College of Engineering, it is a whole experience. It helped me open many doors in my journey to start my professional career. Throw yourself at every opportunity that comes your way.
“I would like to thank Don Bosco College Engineering, for providing me with an opportunity that not only developed my fundamentals in Mechanical Engineering but also helped in developing my leadership skills. This helped me to crack GATE examination and get admission in a top institute like VJTI, for pursuing my masters. Currently, I’m associated with one of the top Swiss MNC, contributing significantly towards the world of Science and Technology, which was not possible without the support of DBCE college staff and management. Thank you once again and all the best for future endeavors”.
My undergraduate years at DBCE laid the strong foundation for my career today. The knowledge, discipline, networking skills and the various opportunities that DBCE offered have shaped my personality. I really appreciate the efforts of the teaching and non-teaching staff for their contributions in shaping such a beautiful institution!
Cheers to the Mechanical Engineering department at DBCE for providing me with the fundamental skills which paved my way not only to secure my first job right after graduation at CSIR-National Institute of Oceanography but also to get a master’s degree at Western. Without the necessary facilities, state of the art infrastructure and impeccable dedication of the faculty and staff, I would not be in the position that I am in today. Having seen the everlasting growth of the institution from infancy to being one of the most preferred engineering college in Goa, it gives me an immense sense of pride and gratitude to be a part of its alumni base.
My four years at Don Bosco have been the most memorable years of my student life. I belong to the first batch of graduates who had the opportunity to learn and grow at Don Bosco. Proud to say that over the years Don Bosco has been growing and focusses on all round development of students.I really appreciate the faculty and staff who have always been supportive throughout our academics and still continue to be.
